There was country named Gorkha in Nepal. The residents of the country used to call themselves as Gorkhali. It grew up bigger and bigger and once it turned into Nepal. The ancient state of Gorkha is now a mere district of Nepal. It is one of the 75 districts of our neighboring country. In the article published in a Bengali newspaper Mr Tushar Pradhan threw light on the GORKHA-land that once actually was. The original Gorkha-land was in Nepal then why a few politically motivated people are misleading the Nepalis of India and trying to engage them in fighting for a separate province named GORKHALAND?Thursday, July 8, 2010
